Athena Parthenos. IV century B.C.

3D reconstruction of the interior of the Parthenon of Athens as it would be in the fourth century B.C. The Athena Parthenos crisoelephantine statue was approximately 12 meters high and was covered in gold and ivory. In his right hand he held a winged reproduction of Nike of an approximate height of 1.80 meters. With his left hand he held a spear and a shield about 5 meters in diameter.

In front of the statue was a shallow water pond, which in addition to reflecting the light, served to maintain the necessary moisture inside the Partenon for the conservation of the ivory that covered the statue of Athena.
